Family economic challenges, learning environments that are not always conducive, and a lack of support can affect the continuity of their learning process.
In some cases, the risk of falling behind in learning and potentially dropping out of school remains a common concern. Without the right support, children's opportunities to develop their full potential may be compromised.
Therefore, Mahija strives to provide various educational initiatives that are closer to the community, so that the children of waste pickers continue to have a safe, inclusive, and sustainable learning space.

Supporting alternative and informal schools by providing learning facilities, assistance, and capacity building so that the learning process is more sustainable and child-friendly.
