The Mahija Parahita Nusantara movement is rooted in our commitment to improving the well-being of waste workers, recognizing the significant contribution that waste pickers make to the recycling system. Along our journey, we have connected with individuals and companies who share our vision: to improve the lives of waste pickers and their families through collaborative social initiatives.
In this holy month, Mahija runs a series of activities with the assisted communities to create meaningful moments of togetherness:
- Breaking the fast together and distributing more than 3,100 iftar packages and more than 800 food packages to field partners and recycling warriors spread across collection partner areas, adoption schools, stalls, and scavenger communities through the Ramadan Berbagi program. We also organized occupational health and safety (OHS) training to provide guidance and reminders for waste pickers to work safely and securely.

- We warmly welcomed Ramadan with over 100 children from our school, in collaboration with the Coca-Cola Euro Pacific Partners Indonesia team. We enjoyed spending time together and watched the children from our school perform on the angklung, followed by a shared iftar meal.

- Sharing and connecting with 100 children and 10 teachers at Lumi Domus alternative school, with the contribution of PT FPT Software Indonesia. The joy radiated from the children who were eager to learn together and use educational tools to catch up with formal schooling, while caring for the environment and developing their artistic talents.

These moments are simple, but meaningful. They provide a space to listen to each other, build togetherness, and foster hope-that every individual, no matter where they are, deserves attention and the opportunity to grow.
Every interaction in this holy month reinforces our commitment to continue to assist, listen and support the community in a tangible way.
