In commemoration of International Literacy Day, Mahija Parahita Nusantara Foundation received donations of more than 2,613 books from Mentari Group, a leading education service in Indonesia that provides integrated solutions for the world of education and actively contributes to the development of superior human resources.

These textbooks and readings were handed over by Bunga Mega, Head of Marketing Communications Mentari Group to Ardhina Zaiza, Chairman of the Executive Board of Mahija Parahita Nusantara Foundation, at one of the Collection Partners located in South Tangerang.
This donation is a tangible manifestation of concern to open wider access to literacy for children, especially those who come from families of waste workers. Various books donated ranging from learning books for kindergarten children, elementary school children's textbooks, to storybooks, will be distributed to seven areas of the waste worker family community including, Mahija Alternative School and various Mahija Mobile School destination areas, so that more children get the opportunity to know the world through meaningful reading.
Ardhina Zaiza emphasized the importance of this support for Mahija's community. "We are committed to assisting waste workers and their families, especially in the field of education. Book donations from Mentari Group are a meaningful contribution to fostering interest in reading, while giving new hope to the children of waste workers' families. We are very grateful for this collaboration that helps strengthen literacy in our ecosystem," said Ardhina.

In line with that, Bunga Mega said that this collaboration is in line with the values and vision of Mentari Group. "We believe that education is the main foundation in building the nation's future. Through collaboration with Mahija, Mentari Group is committed to expanding access to children's literacy, both through Mahija Alternative School and other initiatives such as Mahija Mobile School. We hope that this support can be part of the children's long journey to grow with knowledge, courage, and hope," said Bunga.

This collaboration between Mentari Group and Mahija Parahita Nusantara Foundation is not just a book donation, but our step to encourage social transformation through literacy, provide inclusive access to education, and build a more empowered next generation.
