Young Generation Cares for Waste with Mahija

Celebrating Earth Day, Mahija Parahita Nusantara was present as a speaker at an event organized by Green Action of United Tractors Youth Movement and to share about the environment. 

Located at SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 2 Jakarta, the Mahija Team delivered an educational session on the concept of 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and sustainable waste management. Mahija believes that environmental action can be driven by young people who care and want to contribute.

Not only that, together with Bu Nuriyah-a scavenger who has contributed greatly to the recycling ecosystem-we also invited students to practice sorting waste directly. This activity is part of Mahija's public education pillar, which introduces that there are many opportunities from waste in the future-both from an environmental, social, and even employment perspective.

Similar activities on Earth Day were also held at PG-TK Permata Insani Islamic School. As a co-presenter with the head of one of our Collection Centers, Mr. Martin from PT Berkah Mulia Perdana Sukses. Mahija invites children at an early age to learn to sort waste and get involved in environmental conservation actions.

In addition to learning and interacting in a session themed 'I Love the Earth, Creative Recycling Turns Waste into Valuable Goods', Mahija also presented the Mahija Mobile School or Mobile School car unit. They had fun and activities ranging from coloring, drawing, listening to stories, and playing educational games together.
